The goal is to enhance residents' quality of life, encourage social interaction, and promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and implementing daily activity programs for residents. Lead group activities such as games, arts and crafts, music, exercise classes, and special events. Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement when needed. Escort residents to and from activity areas safely. Set up and clean up activity rooms and equipment. Maintain activity supplies and assist with decorating for holidays and special occasions. Document resident attendance and participation in activities. Support residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities, including those with dementia or memory care needs. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members. Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and resident rights guidelines. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working with seniors, nursing home residents, or individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays. Ability to assist residents with mobility and activity participation as needed.
