Job Description:

The Athletics department is seeking students for employment. This position is funded by the university. All undergraduate students looking for employment are welcome to apply. Please see below the specific duties and responsibilities for the position.

Specific Duties Include:

Officiate various Intramural Sports events and activities Attend training meetings and clinics for Intramural Sports Learn rules and mechanics of a wide variety of Intramural Sports Provide excellent customer service to all users Maintain game control and safety during Intramural Sports activities Complete all forms and follow all procedures as pre-determined by the Recreation Services staff Must be on time and in proper apparel prior to start of scheduled shift Assist with setup and breakdown of Intramural Sports venues and activities Assist with risk management evaluations prior and during Intramural Sports Respond to staff internal communication in a timely and professional manner Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Working knowledge of the Recreation Center and Intramural Sports programs Basic knowledge of various sports and the rules surrounding the sport CPR/AED Certification (can be attained through internal staff trainings) Current FSU Undergraduate Student Flexible availability (Sunday-Thursday nights are a must) and high level of responsibility

Additional Information:

This is a part-time, non-benefited student only position. Schedule varies and the hourly rate is $15.00. Fitchburg State University is an equal opportunity employer.
