Job Description

Activity Assistant Job Summary:
At Hadley Pointe for Nursing Rehab and Care, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by providing engaging activities, events, and experiences that promote socialization, recreation, and overall well-being. If you are passionate about working with seniors and delivering exceptional care, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and implement activities, events, and programs for residents, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and entertainment Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment Coordinate and assist with special events, such as parties, holidays, and community activities Collaborate with the Activity Director to create and implement activity plans that cater to diverse resident interests and abilities Recruit and supervise volunteers to assist with activities and events Maintain accurate records of activities, participation, and resident feedback Participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff Excellent organizational and time management skills Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
