Activity Aide - Join Our Resident Life/Activities Team! We are seeking a highly motivated and outgoing individual to join our Resident Life/Activities Team at Christopher House of Worcester, a premier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Worcester, MA. As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in planning and leading activities that promote resident engagement, socialization, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and leading specialized memory care activities, such as music therapy, sensory stimulation, crafts, and exercise programs Offer one-on-one support to residents who are non-verbal, withdrawn, or need individualized attention Observe and report changes in behavior, mood, or participation to care staff Adapt activities to meet the physical and cognitive abilities of each resident Create a calm and safe environment, minimizing overstimulation Assist with transitions to and from activities and encourage participation Help decorate the unit seasonally and set up activity areas to enhance visual cues Maintain accurate documentation of attendance and resident engagement About the
Role:
As an Activity Aide, you will have the opportunity to bring joy and excitement to our residents' daily lives. We value your creativity and ideas for fun activities and welcome your input in developing a resident-centered recreation/activities plan of care. Previous experience in working with elders in a resident life or activities capacity is preferred, but we will consider those with related experience.

Requirements:
