Job Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
: County-wide drop-in programs for teens.
DUTIES :
Set up program facility. Keep accurate registration and attendance figures. Check proper registration and proof of age of participants. Check to make sure area is safe. Provide direct leadership. Know and implement Department policies and procedures at the facility. If gym supervisor chooses to participate in the recreational program, they do so at their own risk.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years old.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
: Experience working with the teen population. Experience facilitating recreation activities. Ability to deal with difficult people and difficult situations.
EDUCATION
: High school education, or equivalent.
RATE OF PAY
: Salary commensurate with experience. Contingent - Paraprofessional Minimum wage- $18.00/hour. This position can be on a volunteer basis.
