, a Medical Day Program provider in Owings Mills, is seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Med Day Group Activity Assistant to support adults with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities. This is a hands-on, meaningful role where you will assist individuals with daily care while helping them participate in engaging, structured activities in a safe and supportive environment. DSPs Encouraged to Apply! If you have experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Residential Aide, CNA, or Caregiver , this is a great opportunity to transition into a daytime schedule while continuing to do the work you love. ✔ No overnight shifts ✔ Structured daytime hours ✔ Continued hands-on care and engagement What You'll Do Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including toileting, feeding, and personal care Assist with meal service (breakfast, lunch, snacks) Safely load and unload individuals from transportation Support transfers and mobility needs (including Hoyer lifts) Follow and help implement daily activity schedules Assist with group activities, arts & crafts, and special events Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment Document care and daily activities accurately Report any changes in condition to nursing staff Important Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position .

Candidates must be able to:

Lift, transfer, and reposition individuals Assist individuals in and out of wheelchairs Perform hands-on care throughout the shift Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent ( Required ) CMT ( Required ) CPR and First Aid Certification ( Required ) Experience in DSP, caregiving, CNA, or similar human services role (preferred but not required) Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable Ability to follow direction from supervisors and nursing staff Schedule Full-Time Day Program Hours (typically starting around 8:00 AM) Benefits 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Paid Time Off
