Activities Assistant -

Memory Care Community Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Location:

Portland, ME Fallbrook Woods, a locally owned memory care community, is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Assistant to join our Life Enrichment team. This role is hands-on and focused on making each day meaningful for our residents living with memory impairment. Responsibilities Assist the Life Enrichment Director in planning and leading daily activities. Engage residents in programs such as: Van outings and community trips Arts & crafts Fitness, sensory, and relaxation groups Seasonal events, holiday celebrations, and birthday parties Music programs, sing-alongs, and concerts Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet residents' individual needs. Help create a supportive, fun, and engaging environment for residents. Qualifications Valid Maine driver's license (must be insurable). Compassionate, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure. Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently. Creativity and enthusiasm for working with older adults.

Schedule Part-Time:

Tuesday, Friday, and every other weekend | 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Some holidays and rotating weekends are required.
