Job Description

The Shelter Assistant/Crisis Line Advocate is responsible for coverage of River House Shelter and Crisis Line. Coverage of the shelter consists of assisting the residents in meeting their emotional and physical needs, answering the crisis line, text line and emails. Conducting pre-intake assessments, maintaining shelter safety, overseeing housekeeping and light physical maintenance of the inside of the shelter, and providing emergency on-call assistance and crisis intervention services. This is a part-time, Day Shift position for 12 hours shifts on Thursday and Saturday. Starting pay is $13.73/hr
