Full-Time Activities Assistant Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Red Cedar Lodge Senior Living is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help plan and facilitate engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents while promoting socialization, wellness, and enjoyment. Responsibilities Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily activities and events for residents Encourage resident participation and engagement in programs Assist with community outings and special events Set up and clean up activity areas and supplies Build positive relationships with residents and their families Support the Activities Director with administrative tasks and activity calendars as needed Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and inclusive environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working with seniors preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with older adults Ability to work independently and as part of a team Creative, organized, and dependable Must be able to assist with activity setup, transportation, and light lifting as needed Red Cedar Lodge is Lansing's premier senior living community.
