We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team within the Skilled Nursing Facility. Position Overview The Activity Assistant supports resident engagement by helping plan, lead, and assist with activities that promote socialization, independence, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Lead and assist with group activities such as games, exercise, movies, and social events Provide one-on-one interaction and engagement with residents Encourage participation and support residents' individual interests and abilities Transport or assist residents to and from activity areas Supervise residents during activities and report any concerns or changes Maintain attendance records and assist with activity documentation Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Follow safety, infection-control, and resident rights guidelines Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented environment Qualifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable with good time-management skills Apply today to join the Sacred Heart team!
