Class D Driver's License required and must be insurable under Fond du Lac's insurance requirements.
Rate of Pay:
$17.31 to $19.47 hourly High school diploma or GED is required. CPR certification and first aid; if not certified at the time of hire, employee must become certified within 3 months of hire. Employment is contingent upon this requirement and must be kept cunent for the duration of employment Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility, communicate good judgment, and express leadership is required. Knowledge of computer applications to include word processing, Access, Excel and Microsoft Outlook is required. Previous experience working with and planning youth and adult activities is desired. Appropriate work attire is required. Must attend all mandatory department trainings Operations consist of shift work; seven days a week and on holidays. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required. Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved. Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation's Persoimel Policies. Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks. Subject to immunization review and submitted proof of vaccinations. Travel is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and cany up to 25 pounds is required. Walking, standing, running, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling are required, Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including work in adverse weather conditions. Keeps the Community Center clean, and performs liglit janitorial duties. Provide work direction for recreational aides. Assist with staff scheduling, transportation and other duties as assigned. Cordially greets and provides assistance, direction and information to community members when needed and requested. Infonn community members of the rules concerning dress, conduct, or equipment and enforce Center rules, policies and Fond du Lac policies as applicable. Oversees proper use of facility, equipment and supplies. Provide assistance in set up / break down of facility and equipment for community events (i.e. meetings, parties, gatherings, classes, tournaments) Inform Center Manager of any equipment concerns or needed maintenance. Report all accidents and incidents to Center Manager; completely fill out appropriate forms. Assist staff with planning, implementing and conducting age appropriate activities for youth, teens and adults. Assist staff with monitoring activities in gymnasium, weight room and youth and adult areas. Maintain up to date inventories of youth and adult program supplies and materials. Become aware of rules and regulations pertaining to competitive athletic games such as softball, basketball, baseball or for other various sports offered at the Community Center. Provides transportation to community center participants to and from scheduled events or activities and other transportation requests as assigned. Appropriate work attire is required. Must attend all mandatory department trainings. Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees, band members and/or clients. Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, con^laints, and problems. Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers. Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community. Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
