Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and creative Activity Assistant to join our Nursing Home and Assisted Living Team and enrich the lives of our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. About the Role As an Activity Assistant , you will play a key role in promoting the physical, social, and mental well-being of our residents. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement a calendar of activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities, and health conditions Organize and lead group activities, outings, and special events (e.g., themed dinners, excursions, arts & crafts, music sessions) Assist residents in participating in activities, including those with mobility or cognitive needs, ensuring safety and comfort Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity outcomes to improve programs Transport residents to and from activities when needed Encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation, fostering a positive and inclusive environment Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Experience in elderly care, assisted living, or senior activity programs preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with moderate supervision Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outings Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Please call Stephanie or Angie with any questions. 320-859-2142 This Job Description is not an exhaustive list of all skills, responsibilities, or efforts associated with a job.
