Job Description

Duties:
  • Assist lead planner with wedding day set up of decor. You'll work with me to set place settings, centerpieces, place other decor items out such as signage, guest book, draping archs etc.
  • Perform various wedding day tasks with the guidance of the lead planner. Sometimes I might need you to go check with a vendor or ask you to have the venue bring me something, or take the family something.
  • Assist lead planner with wedding day "tear down".
Our role in this is just boxing up the decor and helping get it to the right vehicles.
Schedule:
  • Right now your work will be on wedding days only so you must be available on weekends. You won't work every weekend or even every day during the weekend. I'll send more details of how scheduling works upon reviewing resumes and setting interviews.
  • Weddings are held at various locations throughout the metro area.
Because of this you will not have one set location of work.
Training:
  • Training is all done with me on wedding days so it's hands on.
  • I am really looking for someone that can grow with my team, I want to build a long term team of people I can count on and watch grow over the next few years into lead wedding coordinators. Qualifications
  • Wedding Industry experience or similar hospitality role preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in the ability to prioritize tasks and work tasks based on highest priority.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Desire to grow within the industry/role.
