Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Youth Flag Football Instructor for the fall season! In this energetic role, you will lead engaging flag football activities designed to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness among youth participants. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young athletes to develop their skills, enjoy the game, and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while sharing your passion for sports and physical activity. Duties Plan and deliver age-appropriate flag football lessons, drills, and games that emphasize skill development and teamwork Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages participation and positive behavior among children Demonstrate proper techniques for flag pulling, passing, running, and game strategies while maintaining high energy levels Manage group dynamics effectively, utilizing behavior management skills to keep sessions engaging and organized Communicate clearly with parents or guardians about program expectations, progress, and safety protocols Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards, including emergency procedures such as AED operation and first aid/CPR readiness Maintain equipment inventory and ensure all sports gear is used responsibly and stored properly Experience Prior experience working with children in sports coaching, physical education teaching, or childcare settings is highly desirable Background in sports-specific training instruction such as soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or martial arts (e.g., karate or judo) is a plus Demonstrated leadership skills in team environments or youth programs with strong communication abilities Knowledge of health club or gym environments with experience in sports team management or coaching preferred Certification in first aid and CPR (including AED operation) required or willing to obtain prior to start date Familiarity with behavior management techniques to motivate children and promote positive conduct during activities This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about youth development through sports. Pay:
$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 per week
