Job Description
Recreation Supervisor Join Our Team! We are seeking a motivated and energetic Recreation Supervisor to lead our Recreation Department and create engaging opportunities that support student wellness, development, and success. What You'll Do Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Recreation Department. Plan and implement recreational, fitness, wellness, and student engagement programs. Create and publish weekly and monthly recreation schedules. Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and positive student development. Supervise and guide recreation staff. Address student and staff concerns with professionalism and sound judgment. Participate as an active member of the Center's HEALs Committee. Support the Extended Training Day Program. Partner with Residential Living and Safety/Security staff to ensure effective student supervision. Serve as Acting Center Shift Manager/Manager on Duty as assigned. What You'll Need High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree preferred. At least 3 years of recreation management, physical education, or related experience . Substantial experience working with youth. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Valid in-state driver's license and ability to meet Company insurability requirements. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, lift, carry, reach, stoop, crouch, and push/pull. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and recognize when assistance is needed. Why Join Us?
