Athletic Ticket Office Internship Position Information General Information Position Number STMP15 Working Title Athletic Ticket Office Internship Division Athletics Department Athletics (Adm) Work Unit Athletics Admin/Support Work Location Barnhardt Student Activity Center Vacancy Open To All Candidates Position Designation Non-Student Temporary Employment Type Hours per week 40 Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, nights and weekends as needed. This position requires regular, weekend, and evening hours and is in-person, on-campus. Pay Rate $9.00/Hour and up Minimum Experience/Education An undergraduate degree is required for this position.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Pursuance or completion of a master's degree in sports management/athletic administration or a related field is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities The individual chosen for this position will be assigned substantive responsibilities in the areas of athletic ticketing including: Extensive use of the Paciolan donor management and ticketing system, Game day ticket operations, Training in Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, security awareness, and other University policies, NCAA policy compliance Providing high levels of customer service, Outside sales of ticketing products, Knowledge of donor related benefits and opportunities for customers, And other duties as determined and assigned by the internship supervisor listed above. Other Work/Responsibilities Necessary Licenses or Certifications Proposed Hire Date 07/20/2026 Contact Information Expected Length of Assignment 12 Months Posting Open Date 04/06/2026 Posting Close Date 07/06/2026 Special Notes to Applicants •Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions. However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions, or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, and will be notified of instructions. •Special Notes Regarding Eligibility for the High Deductible Health Plan Temporary hourly workers (eligibility based on FTE, duration of more than 30 days) FTE .75+ (cumulative of all jobs) or measured full-time, offered the high deductible health insurance Temporary salaried workers (regardless of the FTE, duration of more than 30 days) Reported as full-time & offered the high deductible health insurance /benefit-plans/health-insurance
