Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Assistant Senior Center Director to assist the Senior Center Director in ensuring the smooth operation of the senior center and related activities by adhering to local, state, and federal guidelines. This person must supervise and coordinate center staff and volunteers in the director's absence. The person must also ensure that outstanding service is delivered to seniors attending the center and that it supports RSAA's mission and vision statement.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing the monthly calendar of events and activities. Assist in recruiting, training, and maintaining a volunteer base. Update, maintain, and submit monthly reports, order meals, communicate with the Nutrition Director regarding meals, and perform other related duties as assigned. Implement daily activities.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent, have at least two years of experience working with seniors, have current CPR and First Aid Certification, or be willing to be certified, and have a valid NC Driver's License.
Pay:
$11.00 per hour
