Job Description

Performs customer service duties to athletic participants, setting up for programs, and supervising activities. Work is performed under regular supervision from Athletic Supervisor. Open and prepare athletic fields for authorized practices, games, and programs. Enforce league rules. Ensure facilities/grounds are free of hazards. Secure facilities/grounds at end of shift. Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and informing. participants about program. Provide an inviting, safe, and fun environment. Pick up trash and patrol parking lots.
Educations and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the high school or GED equivalency. Must have general knowledge of basketball, baseball, and soccer rules.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
General knowledge of various athletic sport rules, ability to maintain order in a public facility, excellent communications skills is a must.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift or move up to 20 lbs. This position will work both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to changing weather, adverse smells and sights, loud smells and repetitive operations. Ability to understand and follow specific written and oral instructions. Valid driver's license. CPR and First Aid Certification
