Recreational Coordinator Fargo, ND Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Outdoor work Greeting customers Customer inquiry handling Sports Communication skills Soccer Entry level Full Job Description Position Summary The Recreational Coordinator supports the Recreational Director in the planning, organization, and day-to-day operations of the club's Recreational Soccer Program. This position serves as an on-site representative during games and practices to ensure a positive experience for players, families, and coaches. The Coordinator acts as a key point of contact for families, assists coaches with team and field logistics, and works closely with site supervisors to ensure smooth and safe operations at all Recreational sites. Key Responsibilities Serve as an on-site club representative at Recreational games and practices. Greet families and assist with questions related to schedules, field locations, equipment, and general program information. Support the Recreational Director with communication and coordination between coaches, players, and site supervisors. Monitor fields and facilities to ensure games and practices are running smoothly and on schedule. Assist coaches with check-ins, team management questions, and any issues that arise during sessions. Communicate any facility, scheduling, or disciplinary issues to the Recreational Director promptly. Help distribute uniforms, equipment, and other program materials as needed. Attend meetings, trainings, and club events as requested by the Recreational Director. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the Recreational Program experience. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with parents, players, coaches, and staff. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Reliable transportation and availability on evenings and weekends (primary program hours). Prior experience in youth sports, recreation, or customer service preferred. Basic knowledge of soccer is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during game and practice sessions. Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs (equipment, signage, etc.).
