Summer Program Counselor (Seasonal)

Prior experience working with children is encouraged. Responsible for the supervision, safety and accident prevention of all program participants. Teaches and leads games, activities and camp special events. Responsible for the maintenance of and record keeping for the facility, supplies and equipment. Responsible for the distribution of all informational notices and calendars and in communication of program events, activities and concerns to participants and parents. Counselors are required to take attendance, complete accident and incident forms as necessary and to inform their supervisors of any issues or concerns that may require immediate attention. Acts as a liaison between the Recreation Department, campers and parents. Must adhere to all guidelines outlined in the staff manual. Work week is Monday's - Friday's, No weekends.
