Full Job Description Benefits:
Vacation Time 401(k) Paid time off Activity Assistant is responsible for assisting the Activities Director in the planning and implementation of program activities and for assisting with meal distribution during breakfast and lunch. Housekeeping, transport and other functions of the program as assigned by the Director of Activities. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Observation of each participant and immediately reporting any changes in their condition to the Director of Activities and/or RN. Under the supervision of the Activities Director, assisting in the planning and implementation of all program activities which change daily. Assist in preparing for meal service Daily organizing of activities area and supply cabinets and pantry area Clerical duties including copying and filing Serving as transportation aide as necessary i.e., trips, Dr. visits, social service appointments Following principles to prevent the spread of infection Assisting in emergencies as directed by the Director of Nursing Attending and planning and care conferences as necessary Assuming other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
