Recreation Assistant Overview:

LCB Senior Living, LLC, a prominent senior housing operator and developer, is seeking a dedicated Recreation Assistant to join our team. As a Recreation Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by organizing and facilitating recreational activities that promote physical and mental well-being.

Duties:

• Plan and implement engaging recreational programs tailored to the interests and abilities of senior residents.
• Assist in coordinating social events, outings, and group activities to foster a sense of community and belonging.
• Collaborate with the recreation team to develop innovative programs that address aging issues and promote overall wellness.
• Provide support in conducting recreational therapy sessions and activities that focus on improving residents' quality of life.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) during recreational sessions to ensure their comfort and participation.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during recreational activities, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Experience or background in social work, home community care, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
• Knowledge or interest in recreational therapy and its benefits for senior care.
• Familiarity with long-term care settings such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
• Passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences for older adults.
