Job Description

Elmora Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a Full-Time & Part-Time Recreation Aide to join our team!
Schedule:
Rotating shifts from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM or 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM. Schedules are subject to change based on departmental needs. Full-Time employees will be scheduled five days per week, including rotating weekends.
Pay Rate:
$15.92 per hour Payroll is processed biweekly, every other Thursday.
Position Requirements:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to communicate effectively with residents. Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with Recreation staff, Nursing, CNAs, and other departments. A positive, energetic, patient, and compassionate attitude when working with residents. Ability to lead and assist with recreational programs, group activities, special events, and one-on-one resident visits. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to follow daily activity schedules, complete required documentation, and report resident participation or concerns appropriately. Ability to encourage residents to participate while respecting their preferences, abilities, and individual needs. Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to follow departmental policies and instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure healthcare environment. Flexibility to assist in different units or assigned areas based on operational needs. Availability to work rotating weekends, holidays, and overtime when required to support departmental operations. Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Qualified and interested?
