Full-Time | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with some 11:00 PM - 7:00 PM shifts and every other weekend)
Salary:
$16.44 per hour Join Our Team as a Recreation Aide! Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Recreation Aide to help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging activities and meaningful programs. If you enjoy working with older adults and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
Lead small and large group recreation activities, including cognitive enrichment, physical fitness, and social engagement programs. Assist with planning and running monthly events, festivities, and special celebrations. Organize activities based on residents' individual interests and abilities. Ensure resident safety, confidentiality, and dignity at all times.
Requirements:
Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative with a passion for working with the elderly. Previous experience with a geriatric/adult population preferred. Compassionate, outgoing, and team-oriented personality. Strong organizational and communication skills.
