Job Description

5 Star, Sub Acute/Long Term Care facility seeking part time Activity Assistant. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, and passionate about enhancing the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing daily activity programs for short-term and long-term residents Lead small and large group activities including music, exercise, games, arts & crafts, discussion groups, and special events Provide one-to-one engagement for residents who are unable to attend group programming Support memory care programming with dementia-sensitive approaches Document participation and resident responses according to regulatory standards Assist with holiday celebrations, themed events, and community outings Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications:
Experience in long-term care, senior living, or recreation preferred Compassionate, patient, and reliable Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work some evenings, holidays, and occasional weekends Supportive leadership team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact daily Professional growth opportunities Collaborative and resident-centered environment Looking for someonehas energy and has a heart for our seniors.
