We are provide social, academic and recreational care to a number of participants from different walks of lives and disability. New Day Program aims to provide a warm, nurturing and engaging environment for our participants which will focus on: Growth and personal achievement Individualized Program Plans, measurable goals for daily living skills, structured life skill and community-based engagement opportunities to strengthen independent abilities.

Our work environment includes:

Young staff 9:00 - 3:00 PM hours Full Time Employee receive paid Christmas Holiday Week Off/4th of July week off Full Time Employee receive health insurance coverage available Full Time Employee receive 5 days sick/vacation days in the first 6 months. This increases to 10 days after the first year of employment. Small Community Outings Respectful and friendly staff We are looking for an Activity Assistant to join our team and help us create a fun and engaging environment for our participants. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing activities, such as arts and crafts, games, sports, and other recreational activities. The Activity Assistant should be a creative individual with excellent communication skills who is passionate about providing a stimulating environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and implementation of activities and programs for residents. Assist with the coordination of recreational activities and events. Lead group activities such as arts and crafts, games, music, and exercise. Help residents with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and grooming. Provide support to residents in a respectful manner. Ensure the safety of residents during activities. Assist with mealtime activities.
