Now hiring Activities Aide at The Residence at Park Ridge The Residence at Part Ridge, an Assisted Living Facility, is dedicated to the top-quality care of our patients and commitment to our staff. We are seeking Activities Aides to join our already AMAZING team! Would you like to make a difference every day in someone's life? As an Assistant, you will provide support and assistance to our clients in various aspects of their daily lives. This position requires experience in ADLs, event planning, social work, memory care, dementia care, recreational therapy, senior care, caregiving, and assisted living. Essential Job Functions for the Activities Aide Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing the activities program. Meet with the Activities Director for planning activities. Develop and maintain a good working rapport with other departments within the facility and network with outside community agencies. Assist in the development of, and participation in, regularly scheduled in-service training programs. Assist in the arrangement and escort of residents with field trips whenever necessary Assist in the recording and maintaining records of resident's participation in activities Maintain
CONFIDENTIALITY
of all pertinent resident care information to assure residents rights are protected. Assist with the maintenance of the Volunteer Program. Report any changes in the resident's condition immediately to the Nursing Department. Reports all incidents/accidents immediately. Assist in the scheduling of outside activities and groups for the residents. Recommend to the Activities Director the equipment and supply needs of the department. Distribute mail/periodicals to residents. Assist in assessing resident upon admission and chart resident's progress. Prepare and post the Reality Orientation Board regularly. Performs other duties as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks.
