Our events bring together sports executives, event organizers, destinations, venues, suppliers, and industry leaders to build relationships, create opportunities, and move the sports business community forward. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing, relationship-focused individual who loves sports and wants hands-on experience in the world of sports, travel, meetings, events, and business development. This is a great opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or early-career professional who is interested in building a career in sports business, events, tourism, hospitality, or relationship-driven sales. In this role, you will spend your time using phone and email to connect with sports executives and invite them to participate in our upcoming events. This is not a high-pressure sales role. It is a relationship-building role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable starting conversations, following up professionally, staying organized, and representing our company with energy and credibility. The initial role will last 2 months, with the potential for a larger opportunity on the team after that period. Responsibilities Contact sports executives, event organizers, and industry professionals by phone and email Build relationships and explain the value of participating in our events Secure commitments from qualified participants Track outreach, conversations, follow-ups, and commitments in our CRM or tracking system Help identify strong prospective participants in the professional, collegiate, and amateur sports industries Represent our company in a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic way Work closely with the leadership team to provide updates, feedback, and market insights Stay organized and consistently follow through on outreach activity Ideal Candidate Loves sports and is excited by the business side of the industry Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with new people Strong communicator by phone and email Self-motivated, reliable, and organized Interested in a career in sports, travel, tourism, meetings, events, hospitality, or business development Comfortable making calls and following up consistently Professional, positive, and relationship-first Willing to learn and open to coaching College students and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply What You'll Gain Real-world experience in sports business and event production Hands-on training in relationship building, outreach, and business development Exposure to executives across the sports, events, tourism, and hospitality industries A chance to help launch and grow events serving the sports industry Potential opportunity for a larger role after the initial 2-month period
