Activity/Recreation Aide

WeStaff Healthcare LLC is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Activity / Recreation Aide to join our team at Carillon Nursing & Rehab , a skilled nursing facility. Shifts Available:

4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (For every other weekend) 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Full-time & Part-time)

Qualifications:

Experience in a long-term care (LTC) or healthcare setting preferred Background in Therapeutic Recreation, Activities, or related field is a plus High School Diploma or equivalent required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and energetic personality Ability to work with geriatric and diverse populations Experience working with geriatric and/or dementia patients preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and facilitating recreational and therapeutic activities Encourage resident participation and engagement in daily programs Support residents' emotional, social, and recreational needs Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to meet residents' needs Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with facility policies and standards Perform other related duties as assigned We offer our staff more than just a place to work—we provide a supportive environment where you can grow and make a difference.
