  • Temporary, Full-time, Contract Job Overview Join our vibrant summer team as a Camp Counselor or Coordinator and ignite the spirit of adventure, learning, and fun for young campers!
In this energetic role, you will create a safe, engaging environment where children can explore new activities, develop friendships, and build confidence. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire campers to embrace new experiences while ensuring their well-being throughout the summer season. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while honing your leadership and communication skills. You will live on-site at the summer camp facility located in Livingston Manor, NY. Room and Board is included. Transportation to and from NYC is provided if needed. The dates for our upcoming session are July 12
  • July 23rd.
The pay range is $700-925 per session based on role and experience. Responsibilities Lead and supervise campers during daily activities, ensuring safety and active participation. Organize and facilitate recreational games, arts and crafts, team-building exercises, and educational programs. Foster a welcoming environment that encourages inclusivity, creativity, and teamwork among campers. Monitor camper behavior and address conflicts or concerns with patience and professionalism. Assist with camp setup, cleanup, and maintaining a clean, organized activity space. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns. Support fellow staff members in implementing camp schedules and special events to ensure a seamless experience for all participants. Requirements Previous experience working with children or adolescents in personal service roles such as babysitting, tutoring, or youth programs. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse age groups including children, teenagers, and elderly individuals. Energetic attitude with a passion for outdoor activities, arts, sports, or educational programs. Ability to remain flexible and adapt quickly to changing schedules or camper needs. Reliable transportation to arrive promptly at the camp location each day. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus for managing guest interactions during camp events. Demonstrated responsibility in supervising groups and maintaining safety standards at all times.
