Description The Y's Time counselors provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment for school-age children during afterschool hours. This position follows a daily schedule while leading crafts, group activities, homework support, gym games, outdoor play, and other enrichment activities.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the safety of children. Follow the daily program schedule. Lead arts and crafts, games, sports, and group activities. Encourage positive behavior and teamwork. Prepare and clean activity areas. Communicate effectively with staff and families. Follow all program policies and safety procedures. Requirements Experience working with children preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills. Reliable, energetic, and organized. Ability to lead active games and participate in physical activities.
