Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring energetic Summer Camp Coaches and Camp Counselors for our youth baseball and softball camps in Brooklyn. This is a paid seasonal position working with campers ages 4-13 in a positive, team-focused environment. Whether you're a college student, student-athlete, teacher, coach, education major, recent graduate, or someone who enjoys working with children , this is a great opportunity to spend your summer outdoors while building leadership and coaching experience. No professional coaching experience is required—we provide the training, curriculum, and equipment. Summer Camp Schedule (Brooklyn) Available camp weeks: July 13-17 July 20-24 July 27-31 August 17-21 (Required) August 24-28 What You'll Do Coach and mentor campers ages 4-13 Lead baseball and softball drills, games, and skill-building activities Help create a safe, positive, and energetic camp environment Encourage teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and personal growth Work alongside experienced coaches and camp leadership Assist with daily camp operations and camper supervision We're Looking For This position is ideal for: College students home for the summer Student-athletes Teachers and education majors Baseball and softball players Camp counselors Coaches or assistant coaches Anyone who enjoys working with children and being active outdoors Applicants should be: Available for the required week of August 17-21 Reliable, enthusiastic, and energetic Comfortable working outdoors in all summer conditions Positive role models for young athletes Previous experience working with children through camps, coaching, tutoring, childcare, recreation, or youth programs is a plus but not required.
