Memory Care Activity Aide Shift Scheduled:
11am-7pm Join our dedicated team at Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Are you passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia? Do you have a creative spark and a warm smile? As a Memory Care Activity Aide at Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, you'll play a vital role in designing and leading engaging activities that promote cognitive stimulation, socialization, and overall well-being among our memory care residents.
Memory Care Activity Aide Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of our memory care residents Lead and facilitate a variety of activities, including art, music, games, and social events, to promote cognitive stimulation, socialization, and emotional well-being Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages residents to participate and engage in activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging Document residents' participation and progress, providing insight and recommendations to the care team Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless interactions and support
Memory Care Activity Aide Requirements:
Previous experience working with seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia, is preferred Training will be provided Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and caring demeanor Why join our team?
