Activities Assistant Meadow Falls of Saybrook 3720 North Ridge Road West, Ashtabula, OH 44004 Part-time Part-time Activities Assistant - Part-time Join the Meadow Falls of Saybrook team and make a difference in the lives of our seniors! As an Activities Assistant with Meadow Falls of Saybrook, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant and engaging community life for our residents. Our resort-style senior living community offers a dynamic atmosphere, with abundant amenities and life-enriching therapeutic activities. If you are passionate about working with seniors and have a flair for creativity, we invite you to explore this part-time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents Collaborate with our Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs, including arts and crafts, exercise classes, games, and social events Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities, fostering a sense of community and socialization Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback Provide support with daily tasks, such as meal delivery, medication reminders, and escorting residents to activities Work closely with our care staff to ensure the well-being and safety of our residents
Requirements:
Part-time schedule High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field preferred Previous experience working with seniors or in a community setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
