We are hiring a full-time Activities Assistant to join our long-term care team This is a great opportunity for someone looking for an entry-level healthcare job or a career in senior care, recreation therapy, or nursing home activities . You'll help create engaging programs that improve residents' quality of life, social engagement, and emotional well-being . Key Responsibilities Assist with daily activities programs in a nursing home / senior living setting Lead and support group activities, games, crafts, music, and events Provide one-on-one engagement for residents Encourage participation in recreational and therapeutic activities Support activity planning and documentation Help coordinate holiday events, outings, and social programs Work with the care team to support resident-centered care plans Previous experience in working with those with Dementia/Alzheimer's helpful but not necessary Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, or senior living is a plus Previous experience in working with those with Dementia/Alzheimer's helpful but not necessary Open to candidates seeking entry-level healthcare, caregiver, or CNA-related experience Friendly, patient, and dependable Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be able to work every other weekend
