LEAP (Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential) is a thriving Cleveland nonprofit organization committed to supporting people with disabilities as they live independently in their own homes, participate in community life, and find and maintain employment. We are looking for a qualified, sports-oriented Activities Assistant to teach and engage adults with disabilities who want to enhance their lives by developing healthy habits and relationships. This position requires commitment to engaging participants to reduce loneliness and social isolation and helping people live fuller lives.
Minimum qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience interacting or working with persons with disabilities in a professional or personal setting Availability for four to 12 hours per week, primarily on weekday evenings with the occasional, optional, Friday night and Saturday morning work We invite you to join LEAP's team and enjoy competitive pay, a flexible schedule, and colleagues who are engaged and truly mission-driven.
