Activities Assistant - 20 Hours a week!
Location:
Mason Nursing and Rehab - Cincinnati, OH Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? Mason Nursing and Rehab is looking for a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team! As an Activities Assistant, you'll play a key role in planning and leading engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. From games and crafts to music and social events, you'll help create a positive, fun, and supportive environment every day.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and carrying out daily recreational activities Encourage resident participation and engagement Support individualized activity programs to meet residents' needs and preferences Document attendance and resident response to activities Work collaboratively with the Activities Director and care team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in activities, recreation, or working with seniors preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, reliable, and energetic personality Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Join Mason Nursing and Rehab?
