Activity Assistants 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Medina Center for Rehab & Nursing is now hiring Activity Assistants! Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about bringing joy to others? We are seeking a caring Activities Assistant to join our team! This role is vital in supporting the overall well-being of our residents by providing engaging programs that enrich their daily lives.

Pay rates: $13-$14.50 an hour
Full-time & Part-time:

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in recreation, activities, or working with seniors preferred but not required. Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational and social activities for residents. Encourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet varying abilities. Help with set-up, clean-up, and preparation of supplies and materials for activities. Escort and assist residents to and from programs as needed. Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment that promotes resident independence and enjoyment. Document attendance and resident participation.
