Activities Coordinator We?re looking for an Activities Coordinator who is excited to join our passionate, authentic, and courageous team. The Activities Coordinator will plan and facilitate meaningful activities for patients that support recovery, wellness, and a therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, energetic, and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting individuals through their recovery journey.
Responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate daily and weekly group activities Design programming that promotes wellness, creativity, and interpersonal connection Ensure that programming aligns with clinical and therapeutic goals Maintain an updated calendar of events and communicate changes effectively Engage patients with empathy, professionalism, and encouragement Collaborate with clinical and operational staff to support individualized care plans Maintain accurate records of attendance and participation Assist with holiday or special event planning
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Experience in recreational therapy, behavioral health, or related field preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage groups effectively and engage participants Passion or interest in supporting individuals with substance use or mental health issues strongly preferred Must be committed to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use We respect the time and energy it takes to apply for the next step on your career path, so we will make every effort to contact you quickly after receiving your application.
