Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Outfitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and sales, with a keen interest in outdoor activities and gear. As an Outfitter, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their outdoor needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations for outdoor gear and equipment. Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer knowledge and satisfaction. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is displayed effectively. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Stay informed about the latest products, trends, and best practices in the outdoor industry. Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. Requirements Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. A passion for outdoor activities and knowledge of relevant products is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move merchandise as required for stocking and displays.
