Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Assists in development, organizing and implementing high quality youth sports programs. This position requires weekend hours and occasional mid-week evenings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Work with Sports Director with all programs, leagues, camps, tournaments, and tryouts. 2. Oversee competition sites to make sure schedules are being followed and that participants are following YMCA guidelines. 3. Be available to coaches, parents, players, and referees to answer logistical questions or handle specific situations as they arise. 4. Be responsible for cleaning competition site when the event has finished. 5. Oversee on-site maintenance issues that may arise. 6. Assist in YMCA special events. 7. Enforce YMCA rules. 8. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. One to two years related experience preferred. 2. Minimum age of 17. 4. Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications.
