We're looking for a compassionate, energetic Activities Aide who enjoys working with seniors and creating fun, engaging experiences that enrich their lives. What You'll Do As an Activities Aide, you'll help plan and lead engaging programs that encourage residents to stay active, social, and connected.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities Prepare activity rooms, supplies, and equipment before programs Announce upcoming activities and escort residents to and from events Assist residents with crafts, ceramics, games, parties, movies, and special events Help create seasonal decorations and activity displays Accompany residents on community outings when scheduled Deliver mail, flowers, and personal items to residents and read mail upon request Ensure resident safety during transportation and activities Supervise activities as directed by the Activities Department Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in long-term care or working with older adults is a plus Artistic, creative, or recreational activity experience is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic personality Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Why Join Christ the King Manor?
