Summer Camp Counselor

Duties Supervise children ages 6-12 Attend and supervise weekly field trips (free of cost to you) Supervise park trips and pool trips Serve meals (breakfast, lunch, snack) Help with arts & crafts Ensure emotional and physical safety Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, creativity, and confidence among campers Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and other counselors to provide updates on camper progress and address any concerns Support campers in resolving conflicts and practicing good manners to promote respectful interactions Maintain cleanliness of activity areas and ensure all equipment is used safely Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a camp, daycare, or educational setting is preferred but not required Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds Energetic attitude with a passion for creating fun and meaningful experiences for kids Ability to remain patient, flexible, and proactive in a fast-paced environment Must be at least 18 years old CPR/First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to camp start Clearances or willingness or obtain prior to camp start Timeline is June 15 - August 21

Pay:

$15.00 - $21.00 per hour
