Job Description
Recreational Gymnastics CoordinatorOverview Biondi Gymnastics is looking for an energetic, organized, and confident Recreational Coordinator to lead our recreational gymnastics program. This position is ideal for someone with a background in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, tumbling, or another movement-based sport who enjoys working with children and helping coaches create a fun, positive learning environment. We're looking for someone who isn't just a manager, but someone who is comfortable stepping onto the gym floor, assisting with classes, demonstrating basic skills, and filling in as a coach when needed. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of our recreational gymnastics program. Coordinate class schedules, coach assignments, and facility usage. Assist with coach training and ensure lesson plans and company procedures are followed. Step into recreational classes as needed to coach or assist coaches. Provide a safe, positive, and encouraging learning environment for all athletes. Communicate professionally with parents regarding classes, evaluations, and program information. Organize recreational events, camps, clinics, and special activities. Maintain equipment and help ensure the gym remains clean, organized, and safe. Work closely with the leadership team to continue improving our recreational program. Preferred Qualifications Background in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, tumbling, or a similar athletic discipline strongly preferred. Comfortable demonstrating basic gymnastics skills and coaching children ages 2-18 years. Previous coaching, teaching, or instructor experience preferred. Leadership or management experience preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with a passion for working with children. Willingness to work evenings and weekends. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Has an athletic background and enjoys being active. Can confidently lead recreational gymnastics classes when needed. Builds positive relationships with athletes, parents, and staff. Leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in wherever help is needed. Is dependable, organized, and motivated to help our program grow.
