Recreational Programs Coordinator

Overview The Recreational Coordinator plays a vital role in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational programs and activities for individuals of all ages. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development through various recreational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and parents, as well as a background in sports or recreational education. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging recreational programs that cater to diverse age groups and interests. Supervise daily activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. Coordinate schedules for classes, events, and facility usage to maximize participation. Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and accessible for use. Work collaboratively with staff to ensure all protocol and lesson plans are followed per company policy. Provide guidance and support to participants, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages skill development and teamwork. Qualifications Experience in childcare or working with students in an educational or recreational setting is preferred. Experience in a managerial position. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with participants of all ages. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in planning activities and managing schedules. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required by program schedules.
