Activities Assistant:

Full-Time Weekdays 9am-5:30pm Every other weekend 9am-5:30pm Every other holiday 9am-4pm

Responsibilities of Activities Assistant:

Implementation of recreational program. Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance in activities. Assist in preparing activity rooms/areas for scheduled activity programs. This position will be working on a secured dementia unit. Experience working with Dementia preferred. This position is part of a three person activity staff team.

Qualifications of Activities Assistant:

Desire to work with the senior population Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety Dementia care experience is preferred.
