As an Activities Intern, you will play a key role in helping guests create lasting memories while enjoying everything our resorts and Hilton Head Island have to offer. About the Internship The Activities Internship is a hands-on recreation and hospitality opportunity designed for students seeking experience in resort operations, guest services, and commercial recreation. Interns will assist in planning, organizing, and leading a variety of activities and events for guests of all ages across our Hilton Head Island resort properties. This position provides valuable experience in event coordination, recreation programming, customer service, and team leadership. Activities may include, but are not limited to: Arts and crafts programs Weekly welcome parties Bingo and trivia events Family games and competitions Sports and outdoor recreation activities Holiday and special event programming Guest engagement initiatives Interns will also become familiar with local attractions, events, and recreational opportunities throughout Hilton Head Island in order to better assist guests with vacation planning. We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and service-oriented students who are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications Successful candidates should:

Be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Event Management, Business, or a related field Possess a positive attitude and outgoing personality Enjoy working with guests of all ages, especially children and families Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills Be dependable, professional, and team-oriented Have reliable transportation to and from work CPR certification is preferred but not required Internship Compensation & Benefits Housing provided on Hilton Head Island Weekly stipend of $400 (minus applicable housing expenses) Valuable hands-on experience in resort recreation and hospitality operations Professional mentorship and career development opportunities Bi-weekly evaluations to help ensure progress toward internship goals Networking opportunities with hospitality and recreation professionals Why Apply?
