Job Description
Reports to: Resident Camp Leadership The Summer Resident Camp Counselor provides direct leadership, guidance, and supervision to campers in a residential camp setting. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and growth oriented experience for campers by leading cabin life, facilitating camp activities, and modeling YMCA values. The Counselor builds strong relationships with campers, peers, and supervisors while fostering a positive camp culture that emphasizes respect, teamwork, and personal development.
