- HS diploma or GED
- Experience working with geriatric population preferred
- Experience in social or recreational program for licensed health care setting preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word Job Responsibilities
- Activity Partners serve as therapeutic recreations assistants under the Activities Director for skilled nursing facility and assisted living facility residents
- Review resident activity needs and plan recreation programs based on individual needs and resident interest, including music, art, discussion groups, re-motivation therapy, sensory stimulation, and other special entertainment
- Directs movement of residents to and from recreational areas
- Prepares and maintains daily participation logs and schedules in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Maintains accurate documentation of residents' progress and responses to programs Somerfield Health Center at The Heritage at Brentwood is currently seeking a part-time Activity Partner to assist with overall planning implementation of various recreational activities designed to meet the needs of our health center senior residents.
