To assist in providing daily care and activities for the residents.
Duties:
Main Focus is to coordinate and over-see certain activities for the residents to partake in such as, but not limited to: a) Basketball Tournaments b) Dodge Ball Tournaments c) Football Games d) Movie Days e) Cook-outs f) Music Class g) Art Class 2. This person will concentrate on occupying as much of the residents' time as possible on 2nd shift. 3. Establish a good rapport with the residents. 4. Participate in the reporting and handling of crisis situations. 5. Demonstrate Competence in the cultural knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity. 6. Maintain knowledge of community resources. 7. Maintain discipline following State Guidelines. 8. Monitor residents for a safe environment at the facility 9. Follow all applicable policies of WHWH/Hollis Academy. 10. Participate in the PQI Program as requested. 11. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Qualifications and Experience :
This person must be at least 21 years of age with at least 1-year experience working with troubled youth such as this. High School Diploma or
